Johnson has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Johnson enables Hiski to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Johnson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Hiski postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Johnson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hiski, into his guard.
Hiski isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Johnson stacks Hiski on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Johnson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orakpo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Luffy but Luffy pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Orakpo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Luffy's waist but Luffy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Orakpo off to one side.
Luffy is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Luffy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Orakpo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Luffy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Orakpo just misses with a punch to the body.

Luffy stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Orakpo has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Luffy manages to get his head free but now Orakpo has transitioned to an armbar! Luffy grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Orakpo! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Nurminen tries to score with a low kick but Lindroos moves his leg out of the way.
Lindroos turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nurminen lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lindroos has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lindroos and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Lindroos displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nurminen throws out the jab.

Nurminen throws a hook to the side of Lindroos's head but Lindroos sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Nurminen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

The fighters circle momentarily. Nurminen darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Nurminen fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Lindroos checks it well.
No joy there for Lindroos, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lindroos pivots, looking for a leg kick but Nurminen is out of range and Lindroos settles back down.
Nurminen lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

I think Mieto might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pikku G - Älä ole vihainen . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Mieto uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Armo.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Armo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mieto - the referee stops the clock and Armo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mieto. Armo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
