I think Michaels might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sexy Boy. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Josh Watson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Michaels shoots for a takedown but Watson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Watson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Prokhorov tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Prokhorov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it.

and Jones finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Edward Jones showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jones, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Jackson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Petri moves in looking to clinch but Jackson pushes him off.

Jackson gets caught flat footed, as Petri shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Petri looking to sit in guard and control but Jackson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Petri has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jackson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Petri.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jackson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Ryan Petri has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jackson is trying to control the action in half guard but Petri is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Jackson seems to be looking for submissions.

Well Jackson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
