The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuuu throws a low kick, looking for Mae's leg but Mae calmly moves out of range.
Yuuu misses with a combination
enabling Mae to counter with a crisp jab.
Mae blocks a low kick nicely.
Yuuu on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Yuuu throws a body kick the misses
and Mae counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mae has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Yuuu finds it's way round the side to connect with Mae's head.
Yuuu showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mae.
Mae thuds a left hand into Yuuu's body.
Yuuu throws a right and a left that both miss.

Mae avoids the head kick by Yuuu.
Yuuu fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mae.

Yuuu throws a low kick but Mae moves out of range easily.
Yuuu does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

and Mae counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Mae lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Yuuu backs up against the cage.

It looks like Fuk Yuuu has been cut.

Mae has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Yuuu regains guard immediately.

Mae is a very stocky fighter. Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real.
Mae shoots in and drives through. Yuuu sprawls well.

and Mae counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Mae fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Yuuu looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Yuuu is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mae is defending well for now.

Mae breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Yuuu throws a half hearted mid kick.
Mae misses with a two punch combination.
Mae ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Mae throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Yuuu stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mae will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
