de La Valliere feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jenkins sprawling to the canvas! Jenkins rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can de La Valliere finish him?!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dante has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Lusion is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dante.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dante is trying to escape the position but Lusion is controlling the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mug throws a head kick that misses
and Alexander counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Alexander lands a front kick.
A low kick from Mug misses
and Alexander counters with a thumping low kick.
Mug shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Alexander pinned against the cage. Alexander gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mug is trying hard to land a takedown here. Alexander sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Mug throws a sloppy head kick
and Alexander makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Mug really felt that one!

Mug looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Alexander is fending him off so far but Mug persists. Nope, Alexander circles away and we're back to standing.

and Alexander counters with a head kick. That will keep Mug thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Alexander lands a good knee to the midsection. Mug won't want to take too many of those.
Clinched against the cage, Alexander lands a big elbow that drops Mug! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Mug is complaining that he's OK but he was done.

Bravo slips a jab and a cross from Velasqz.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Velasqz, as that shot connected.
Velasqz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Velasqz gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bravo tries to free his leg and advance position but Velasqz is retaining full guard.
Bravo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Velasqz's guard.

Bravo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Bravo wants to work for an arm triangle but Velasqz is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Bravo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Velasqz is just riding it out for now. Bravo eventually gives up the hold.

Bravo is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Velasqz has managed to free his arm - good work.

Velasqz won't allow Bravo to pass to mount.

Bravo is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Velasqz defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Velasqz is in a bad position with Bravo working for a choke. Velasqz manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.

Velasqz has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Bravo has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Bravo manages to reverse the position and now he's in Velasqz's guard. Nice work there by Bravo .

Bravo has gone for a leg lock! Velasqz slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bravo 's guard.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!



Bravo shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Bravo wants to free his trapped foot but Velasqz is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Bravo is trying to control the action in half guard but Velasqz is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Velasqz is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bravo pulls his head out easily.
Bravo is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Velasqz reverses the position - he's now on top in Bravo 's guard.

Velasqz with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Bravo has his foot on Velasqz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Velasqz works his way back into a safe position though.

Bravo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Velasqz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Velasqz postures up and lands a big shot to Bravo 's brow.

Velasqz passes Bravo 's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Bravo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Velasqz's guard.
Velasqz can't keep his opponent in guard - Bravo advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Velasqz tries to roll over but Bravo keeps him under control.

Bravo is trying for a kimura here. Velasqz looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Bravo wins by kimura!
