Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Well Jacoboni has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Davis lands a big uppercut and Salace crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Salace looks OK. Davis waves Salace back to his feet!

Davis is pawing at Salace, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Salace's nose. Salace is badly hurt! Davis pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Salace tries desperately to hold on but Davis is relentless in his assault! As Salace receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Davis away and this one is in the books!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
