Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sour Diesel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lopez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Music kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Sour Diesel had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diesel feints and as Lopez raises his hands in defense, Diesel changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Diesel lands a couple of elbows.

Lopez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Diesel doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Diesel manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Lopez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Diesel defends well.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Yung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruslan Bonjasky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruslan Bonjasky struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 172.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Yung stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Yung wants it to stay on the feet.

Heart stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Overeem swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Overeem throws a body punch but Heart moves out of range.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Overeem feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Heart decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Overeem wants to improve his position but Heart is controlling well.

Heart is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Overeem is just riding it out for now. Heart eventually gives up the hold.
Overeem slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Heart drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Heart jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Heart keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Overeem's head.

Heart lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Heart seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Overeem does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
