The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saint shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jackman pinned against the cage. Jackman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jackman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Saint.

Jackman has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Saint has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Jackman is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Saint has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Saint wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jackman keeps working.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Saint has a takedown stuffed.
Jackman with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Saint with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jackman to score with a decent uppercut.
Jackman throws a hook to the side of Saint's head but Saint sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Saint shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jackman as he avoids it easily.

Saint shoots for a double leg takedown but Jackman sprawls well. He's pushed Saint's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nate Jackman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gui Saint.
