Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hio Kint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hio Kint had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Evan Henderson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Hio Kint's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Henderson tries to clinch there but Kint circles away.
Henderson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Kint is not content to let Henderson control the position. Henderson tries to stand but Kint is controlling his head. Henderson misses with the ground and pound. Henderson wants to control but Kint is keeping him busy. Kint is trying to control Henderson's posture but Henderson avoids it. Henderson in side control, throwing shots but Kint defends. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kint tries to bench press Henderson off him but Henderson keeps the position. Kint is trying to control Henderson's posture but Henderson avoids it. Kint is looking for a sweep. You can see the frustration on Kint's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kint is trying to get back to half guard. Kint keeping his opponent close. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Kint tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Henderson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Kint is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Kint is not content to let Henderson control the position. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Kint punching from the bottom.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Evan Henderson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Henderson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Henderson sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Kint is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Kint looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kint landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Ground and pound from Kint. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kint lands a nice short elbow. Kint scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Kint working some ground and pound from close in. Still in half guard, Kint seems content to control. Kint looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Henderson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Kint looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Kint thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Henderson to regain full guard. Kint throws and elbow that misses. Henderson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kint's guard. Nice move by Henderson! Kint has Henderson pulled in close to control his posture. Henderson preventing the sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hio Kint dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Kint stands and throws Henderson's legs to the side, diving into side control. Kint lands an elbow. Kint working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Henderson pushes Kint away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kint gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Henderson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Kint lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Henderson down.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Large tries to clinch up. Boy tries to land a front kick but The Large steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! The Large showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Boy.
Boy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Boy throws a right hand that The Large ducks under and follows up with a left that The Large also avoids with ease. The Large closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. The Large lands with a right to the head. The Large swings away with an uppercut that misses.
The Large digs a right hand into Boy's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Boy's gas tank. The Large has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Boy avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Boy tries to score a body lock takedown but The Large shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Boy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The Large is working for a takedown up against the cage. Boy ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with The Large's jaw. The Large's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Boy does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Harrt tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kopec cranks the arm and Harrt screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Harrt, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loyack misses with a hook
and Holiday counters with a nice double leg into guard. Holiday postures up in Loyack 's guard and throws a big left but Loyack blocks it. Holiday prevents Loyack from getting back to his feet. Holiday sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Loyack 's guard. Holiday is looking to take a break and control but Loyack is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Holiday wants to work for an arm triangle but Loyack is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Holiday is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Holiday throwing shots but Loyack is blocking nicely. Holiday not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Holiday throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Loyack is staying active underneath Holiday, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thor pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Hathaway back to the cage. Thor follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Thor lands a lovely overhand right. Thor falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hathaway counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Thor pushes Hathaway off looking to stand but Hathaway dives back in and keeps control.
Hathaway wants to pass the guard but Thor is defending well. Hathaway is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Thor is trying to stand.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Hathaway decides to stand and escape the position. Thor throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hathaway counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Thor thinking. Hathaway bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hathaway decides to stand up, so the ref orders Thor to his feet. Thor falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hathaway decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Thor's guard. Hathaway is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Collin Hathaway hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Hathaway throws a series of punches but Thor moves out of range. Thor falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hathaway counters with a takedown into side control. Hathaway prevents Thor from escaping the position. Thor trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Thor trying to remain calm as Hathaway controls from the top position. Hathaway stands up and we're back to a striking position. Hathaway lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Thor backs up against the cage.
It looks like Slouth Thor has been cut. Hathaway fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Thor sprawls well initially but Hathaway persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Thor won't allow Hathaway to pass to mount. Hathaway trying to control the pace. Hathaway decides to return to a standing position. Hathaway clinches up with Thor and pushes him back against the cage. Hathaway escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Thor throws a combination. Hathaway tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Thor swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hathaway counters by clinching up. Hathaway misses with an elbow over the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thor wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Hathaway pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Thor falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Hathaway to counter with a crisp jab. Thor misses with a double jab
and Hathaway counters by moving into the clinch. Hathaway throws a knee to the head but misses.

Hathaway lands with a short shot to the head. Thor takes an elbow to the temple. Hathaway manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

so Hathaway counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Thor wants to stand up but Hathaway is controlling him. Hathaway escapes and gets back to his feet. Hathaway looks to land a combination but Thor avoids it well. Hathaway lands a two punch combo.

Hathaway looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Slouth Thor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hathaway drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hathaway should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Thor avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Hathaway. Thor wants to get back to his feet but Hathaway drags him back down. Thor prevents Hathaway from improving position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hathaway controls the position from side control. Hathaway cracks Thor with an elbow. That is naaassty. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Collin Hathaway showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Slouth Thor's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Hathaway has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A momentary lapse in concentration from Thor enables Hathaway to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Thor manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Hathaway won't allow Thor to get back to his feet. Hathaway looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Hathaway must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hathaway fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Thor looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Hathaway takes one to the chin there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hathaway lands a jab to Thor's midsection. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hathaway looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Slouth Thor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Collin Hathaway. A punch combination from Thor misses. Slouth Thor is winning the standup battle so far. Hathaway misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hathaway closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hathaway lands in his opponent's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Slouth Thor. I think Hathaway has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
