Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pasko Nusciva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mark Beck!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nusciva is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Beck's half guard.

Nusciva is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Beck is just riding it out for now. Nusciva eventually gives up the hold.
Beck is trying to maintain the position but Nusciva is very close to passing his half guard.

Nusciva is looking for a kimura here.
Beck won't allow Nusciva to pass to mount.
Beck is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Nusciva is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Nusciva seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Beck does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Nusciva passes to side control.
Nusciva postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Beck tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Nusciva wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Nusciva working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nusciva thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nusciva just content to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nusciva is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Beck looks calm but he's in trouble here. Nusciva gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Beck is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Nusciva lets go of the hold and Beck can pop his arm back in it's socket.
