The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avelyan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Shurygalo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Avelyan scrambles back to his feet.
Shurygalo throws a shot from downtown. Avelyan moves away and avoids it.
Avelyan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Shurygalo.
Shurygalo moves out of range as Avelyan strikes.

Shurygalo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Avelyan.
Avelyan closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Shurygalo! Avelyan dives in looking to finish! Shurygalo is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Conor stumbles backwards against the ropes. Watanabe steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Conor's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Conor just didn't come prepared.
