The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slavsky throws a head kick that Tito semi-blocks.

It looks like Jose Tito has been cut.

Slavsky throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tito on the side of the head.

Slavsky throws a poor cross that misses

and Tito counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Tito won't allow Slavsky to get back to his feet.

Tito drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Slavsky manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tito has Slavsky in his guard.

Slavsky must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Tito has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Slavsky can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Slavsky is sitting in close to Tito's body. Tito has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Slavsky is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Slavsky is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Tito.

Dumas is looking to sinch up a triangle. Kimura throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Dumas's body to avoid the submission. Dumas has instead reached around Kimura's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Dumas arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
