The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rostecki manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dodo on his heels. He'll look to pass Dodo's guard now, I'm sure.
Dodo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Rostecki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dodo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rostecki lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Rostecki really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dodo keeping moving, preventing Rostecki from controlling successfully.
Dodo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

and Rostecki counters with a crisp one two that drops Dodo! Rostecki thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Dodo to his feet! Dodo is in big trouble!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rostecki shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dodo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Rostecki passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Rostecki is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Dodo looks calm but he's in trouble here. Rostecki gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Dodo is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Rostecki lets go of the hold and Dodo can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Davis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Baum dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hornchuck. That did some damage!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roque clinches up with Marks and pushes him back against the cage.
Marks wants to break free but Roque has control.
Marks tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Roque smiles and moves away.
Roque throws a series of punches but Marks moves out of range.
Marks is trying hard to land a takedown here. Roque sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Roque fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Marks looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Marks throws a push kick but Roque slaps the foot to one side.

Cavalera closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cavalera is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Coach doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cavalera.

Coach tries to get to full guard but Cavalera has control of the leg.
