Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Herrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Wolfen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Herrera comes to the cage accompanied by Don Omar - Bandolero. Frank Wolfen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Herrera moves in looking to clinch but Wolfen pushes him off.
Herrera dodges the punch combination from Wolfen.
Wolfen slips a jab and a cross from Herrera.
Herrera tries to clinch there but Wolfen circles away.
A slapping body kick lands there for Wolfen.

Wolfen clinches with his opponent.

Wolfen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wolfen connects with a solid leg kick.
Herrera is breathing heavily.

Wolfen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Herrera to the mat! Herrera manages to get full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wolfen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Herrera looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Wolfen decides to stand up, so the ref orders Herrera to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Wolfen lands with a big right hook that stumbles Herrera - he's out on his feet here! Wolfen follows up with another monster hook that separates Herrera from consciousness! Herrera falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Wolfen stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Yuen throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Torrez crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That was a close round but I would say that Parfait PrudHomme will probably get the nod.
