We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Crippler makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Crippler is desperately trying to improve his position but Ekaku has a good base and remains in mount.

Ekaku postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Crippler looks a forlorn figure.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Crippler is squirming around, avoiding Ekaku's attempts to control the action.

Ekaku goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Crippler turns into him and now he's in Ekaku's guard.
Crippler decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ekaku, up you get!
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hakuin Ekaku.
