That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Eisenstein Priestley.
Well Priestley has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Fuqua is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pineda is just riding it out for now. Fuqua eventually gives up the hold.
Fuqua seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pineda does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
TBjang swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Cingeto throws a left and a right that both miss
and TBjang counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Cingeto thinking.
TBjang lands with a right hand.
Cingeto fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
TBjang moves away from the strike by Cingeto.
Cingeto takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Cingeto. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

TBjang got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cingeto has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, TBjang has managed to get both his arms back between Cingeto's legs - danger averted.
TBjang stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cingeto swivels though and keeps the full guard.
