The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cozad looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rekker is fending him off so far but Cozad persists. Nope, Rekker circles away and we're back to standing.
Rekker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rekker swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Cozad counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rekker won't be happy with that.
Cozad advances to full mount.
Rekker is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Cozad tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Rekker is desperately trying to improve his position but Cozad has a good base and remains in mount.
Rekker wants to control but Cozad is having none of it.
Cozad breaks from Rekker's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Cozad throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Rekker because Cozad loaded up on that one.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dominickoy Maia will probably get the nod.

Parker takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Tyson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tyson, as that shot connected.

It looks like Rex Parker has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Parker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Parker misses with a looping left.
Tyson throws a series of punches but Parker avoids them all with ease.
Tyson scores with a hook to the body. Parker takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Parker is breathing heavily.
Tyson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tyson punishes Parker's body with a nice straight punch.
Parker has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Tyson connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Parker covering up! Tyson comes in with a big uppercut and Parker goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

Stevenson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ettish.
Ettish scores with a one two! Stevenson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice shot by Ettish.

The cut above Josh Stevenson's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Ettish lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Ettish throws a nice head kick!

Stevenson is rocked!

Josh Stevenson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The fighters circle, before Ettish throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Stevenson's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Ettish lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
