The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Saballe gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Saballe is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Nakamura tries to free his leg and advance position but Saballe is retaining full guard.
Nakamura is looking to work some ground and pound but Saballe has wrist control.
Nakamura stops Saballe from standing up.
Nakamura throws a strike but Saballe rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Saballe has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Saballe wants to pass the guard but Nakamura is keeping the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Saballe rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nakamura moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Saballe lands a left and a right that send Nakamura crashing to the mat, dazed. Saballe thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Saballe lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Nakamura falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
