Castle fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Martial.
Martial lands a head kick. Castle smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Frank Castle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Martial makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Castle tries to advance to mount but can't.
Martial is trying to control Castle's posture but Castle avoids it.
Martial is trying to get back to half guard.

Castle happy to just control the position for now.
Castle has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Castle misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McCoy is looking for a kimura but Woolard is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for McCoy to get the leverage.

McCoy has an Americana. Woolard didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! McCoy is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if McCoy hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Capone looks to land a combination but Jacobson avoids it well.

Capone moves into range and clinches up with Jacobson.
Jacobson wants to get back to striking at distance but Capone won't allow it.
Capone lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Capone pushes Jacobson against the cage. Capone is working some dirty boxing. Capone pushes off with a quick right hook! Jacobson goes down! Jacobson tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Capone moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

It looks like Captain Beefheart has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
iLL throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
iLL cracks Beefheart with a right hand to the side of the head.

Dr iLL seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick by iLL - that's a beauty! Beefheart is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even iLL can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Filipovic feints a jab promting Brooks to slip. Filipovic then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Brooks slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Filipovic throws a series of punches but Brooks avoids them all with ease.

Oooooh!!! Filipovic has knocked Brooks down with a huge combo! Filipovic steps away and waves a wobbly Brooks back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Mirko Filipovic is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Filipovic instigates a clinch.

Filipovic breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Filipovic moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Eli Brooks's cut is getting worse.
Brooks throws a sloppy body shot
and Filipovic counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Brooks off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Filipovic follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Brooks was out before he hit the floor.
