Tiongson cracks Owen with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Tiongson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Owen to stand back up!

It looks like Patrick Owen has been cut.
Owen leaves his chin hanging out and Tiongson seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Owen crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tolits uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Marshall.

Marshall fails to land with a series of punches.
Tolits tries a head kick but it misses.
Tolits seems to have recovered his senses.
Tolits fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Marshall manages to avoid it.
Tolits pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Marshall closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Tolits! Marshall dives in looking to finish! Tolits is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

A frustrated look appears on Payat's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Lumines shoots in and drives through. Payat sprawls well.
Lumines keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A left and a right from Lumines both land. Nice combination.
Payat uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lumines.
Jumar Lumines seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown by Lumines or perhaps it was just good defense by Payat which made him look bad.
Payat will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Payat throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lumines's waist but Lumines gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Payat off to one side.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Lumines gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Lumines tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Payat just stands there and leans against the cage.
Lumines tries for a takedown but Payat manages to get underhooks.

Payat's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Payat throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lumines's waist but Lumines gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Payat off to one side.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Payat takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Lumines tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Payat manages to move to mount!
Lumines wants to hold on but Payat pushes him away.
Payat controlling the pace for now.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Payat throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Olan Payat hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Lumines shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Lumines leaves Payat with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Payat closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lumines circles away.

and Grande counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Rocky Marciano has been cut.
Grande could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Marciano fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Grande manages to avoid it.
Marciano swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Marciano misses with a straight left.
Grande fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Marciano has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Marciano throws a left and a right that both miss

and Grande counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Grande will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Grande accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Grande throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Marciano works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Marciano looks gassed!

Marciano is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Grande defends well.

Grande has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Grande controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Grande lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Grande slips nicely into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Grande in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Marciano tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Grande!
