Diaz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Its not my time. Pierce has chosen Red Right Hand as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Pierce to counter with a crisp jab.
Diaz ducks under a wild hook from Pierce.
Diaz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pierce.
Pierce misses with an uppercut
and Diaz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Diaz throws a left and a right that both miss

and Pierce holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Diaz wants to break the clinch but can't.
Pierce lands with a short head shot on the inside.

A short body shot lands from Pierce as the two fighters clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pierce creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Brzenszczykiewicz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Body Count - Body muthafuckin' count. Wizzlegorg is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Trekka by Puscifer . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
