The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman with a lazy takedown attempt
and Pigg connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Pigg gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Freeman to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Pigg had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Freeman defends it easily.

Pigg escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Freeman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Freeman is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Pigg is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Pigg has escaped and now he's on top!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Freeman has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Pigg doesn't defend quickly enough and Freeman has managed to lock this one up! Can Pigg escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Freeman on a fantastic submission victory.

Jenkins fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Barber.
Barber blocks a head kick by Jenkins.

Jenkins buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jenkins throws a head kick but Barber moves out of range.
Jenkins lands with a thumping leg kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jenkins thows a body kick. Barber tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Jenkins scores with a kick to the midsection.

Jenkins feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Jenkins slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Jenkins is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Barber is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jenkins in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Barber is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castroy misses with an uppercut.
Castroy looks to throw the jab but Kozakov is out of range.
Kozakov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Castroy throws a jab when Kozakov was well out of range.
Castroy ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kozakov throws a lazy body kick
and Castroy counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Castroy paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kozakov swings away with a body shot that misses
and Castroy counters with a nice uppercut.

Castroy clinches up against the cage.
Castroy lands a left hand.
Castroy lands with a left to the head.
Kozakov wants to break free but Castroy has control.

Castroy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kozakov walks into a straight right hand from Castroy.
Nice body punch from Castroy.
Kozakov is breathing heavily.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Castroy, right into the meat.
Castroy connects with a crisp jab.

It looks like Tolya Kozakov has been cut.
Castroy bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Castroy waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Kozakov. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Kozakov to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Kozakov is rocked!

Castroy stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Oh Kozakov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Castroy throws an uppercut from hell that sends Kozakov clean off his feet! He's out cold! Castroy stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
