The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Choake misses with a takedown attempt
letting Bananas counter with a right hand.
Choake throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bananas throws a front kick aimed at Choake's knee but Choake avoids it well.
Choake is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Choake shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bananas manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Choake stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bananas swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bananas working for a triangle but Choake defends it easily.

Choake is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Bananas can't keep his opponent in guard - Choake advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Choake performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Choake is keen to just control but Bananas is a slippery customer.
Choake works his way into side control.

Choake thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Bananas tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Choake has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Bananas has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Choake working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Bananas is doing well to defend. Choake seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Bananas is forced to tap and this one is over!
