Meri is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: hold me, thrill me, kiss me, kill me. Veijo Meri struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Brezovec takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

It looks like Brezy Brezovec has been cut.

Silva lands a big right hand that sends Brezovec crashing to the mat! Silva stays standing though and waves Brezovec back to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
