Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steve Irvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Dayley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dayley has chosen The Taste Of Ink - The Used as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Dayley gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Irvin .

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Winston Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Caschera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gunn might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Shipping up to Boston - Dropkick Murphys . Caschera comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Crimson King by Demons & Wizards limited edition kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Caschera takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Gunn looks to land a combination but Caschera avoids it well.
Gunn swats away the attempt to clinch by Caschera.
Gunn scores with a one two! Caschera had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gunn stalks Caschera and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Caschera's face. Caschera staggers backwards, shaken.
Caschera misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gunn moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Caschera has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Gunn's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Gunn duly obliges.

Gunn lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

That has opened up Max Caschera's cut even more.
Gunn misses with a wild combination.
Gunn tries a head kick but it misses.
Gunn scores with a one two! Caschera had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Caschera walks into a straight right hand from Gunn.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
The fighters circle momentarily. Gunn darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Gunn connects with a good right hand that stumbles Caschera. Caschera circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Winston Gunn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gunn keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Gunn scores with a jab. Caschera acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Gunn slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

The cut above Max Caschera's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gunn lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gunn is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Nice straight punches there by Gunn. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Gunn.

Max Caschera's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Gunn lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Caschera backs up against the cage.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Max Caschera's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
