With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Rand!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chan punishes Rand's body with a nice straight punch.
Rand keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Chan.
Rand moves out of range of the strikes.

Rand has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rand lands a hook that snaps the head of Chan backwards.
Chan is stalling here.
Chan digs a right hand underneath Rand's ribcage. Rand let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Rand is working Chan over against the cage.
Rand tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Johnny Chan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chan lands a big uppercut and Rand crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Rand looks OK. Chan waves Rand back to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rand closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Chan swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Rand pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Chan lands with a big left! Rand is wobbled badly! Chan comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Rand to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
