Lolata moves out of range as Helvete strikes.
Lolata shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Helvete sprawls well. Helvete wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lolata gets slowly back to his feet.
Lolata throws a hook to the side of Helvete's head but Helvete sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poop throws an overhand right that lands on Kid's shoulder, as Kid tries to avoid the shot.
Kid ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kid steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Poop.
Kid shoots in for a takedown but Poop shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Poop misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kid.
Poop swings for the body but Kid moves out of range.

Kid drops back, looking for a kneebar! Poop looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Poop looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Poop!
Poop remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Kid manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Kid closes the distance and clinches up with Poop, looking for a takedown. Kid pushes Poop against the cage but Poop circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Ninja Kid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kid tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Poop swivels and escapes.
Kid shoots in for a double leg but Poop sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nice straight punches there by Poop. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Poop.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kid tries to move into range but Poop moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

That has opened up Ninja Kid's cut even more.

Poop thows a body shot but no joy.
Poop throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Poop throws a nice looking combination but Kid bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A jab from Poop finds it's way through Kid's defenses.

and Poop makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Poop connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Poop wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Poop jabs Kid right on the nose. Kid blinks but takes it well.
Poop is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Kid takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

The cut above Ninja Kid's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Ninja Kid's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
