The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a series of punches but Shottah avoids them all with ease.
Jones tries to land a front kick but Shottah steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Jones thows a left - swing and a miss!
Shottah takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Jones closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Shottah doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Jones misses with a few strikes there.
Shottah takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Jones buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Shottah shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
