The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Renton closes the distance and clinches up with Dangerfield, looking for a takedown. Renton pushes Dangerfield against the cage but Dangerfield circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Renton throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Dangerfield gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Renton blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Dangerfield lands a left hand that snaps the head of Renton backwards.
Dangerfield cracks Renton with a nice body shot.
Renton misses with some punches.
Dangerfield lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Dangerfield digs a right hand underneath Renton's ribcage. Renton let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Renton jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dangerfield walks away with a smile on his face. Renton gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Renton uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dangerfield.
Renton is looking to clinch.
Renton slips a jab and a cross from Dangerfield.
Renton doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Renton looks gassed!

Dangerfield instigates a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Renton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Renton is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Dangerfield doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Renton crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Renton's bad books for that mishap!

Damatter has instead reached around Miller's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Damatter arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
