The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khatib fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Zilic avoids it really well and circles away.
Khatib misses with a takedown attempt - Zilic sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Khatib shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Zilic as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sou Khatib. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Zilic shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Khatib napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Zilic stands up.
Khatib misses with a series of wild punches.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Khatib regains full guard. Nicely done.
Zilic is fighting to break Khatib's control of his arms but Khatib is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Khatib throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Zilic was covering up waiting for the punch and Khatib finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Khatib connects with a nice short shot to Zilic's temple.

Zilic's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Zilic is squirming around, avoiding Khatib's attempts to control the action.

Sou Khatib dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Zilic bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Khatib's guard.

Zilic tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Zilic has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Well Zilic has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Durant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Reed's choice of entrance music: Its the season. Ryan Reed told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Durant throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Reed throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Durant steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Reed. That one must have hurt.
Durant avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Reed throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Durant was covering up waiting for the punch and Reed finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Reed postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Durant leaves Reed with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Reed closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Coley lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hardy has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hardy and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Hardy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Coley but Coley pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Coley tries to bum rush Hardy with a series of wild strikes but Hardy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Coley drops Hardy with a beautiful combination! Hardy stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Coley is looking for the KO!

Coley cracks Hardy with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Coley has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hardy to stand back up!

Hardy is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Coley darts in and clinches Hardy up against the cage.

Coley has closed the distance and engaged Hardy in a clinch.

Coley is pressed up against the cage. Hardy has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Coley down to the mat. Coley avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Hardy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Coley has hold of Hardy's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hardy seems comfortable defending it but Coley has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hardy is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hardy is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Coley couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Mathers feints and then cracks Hardy's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hardy down.
Hardy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mathers's waist but Mathers gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hardy off to one side.
Hardy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
