Seppuuken throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Matikainen remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Matikainen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lashley does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Matikainen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lashley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lashley connects with a nice short shot to Matikainen's temple.

Matikainen moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Matikainen is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lashley can do to turn this around?

Matikainen feints and then cracks Lashley's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lashley down.

Smith has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Ripper to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Smith is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Ripper pulls down on the head and he's put Smith to sleep! This one is all over!

Seven really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Larha. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Larha holds on and takes a little breather.

Larha had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Seven is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Larha Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Seven's back instead.
