The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roe shoots in looking for a takedown. Gehrig tries to sprawl out of it but Roe keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gehrig manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gehrig defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Roe.
Roe on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Gehrig. Gehrig obviously looking to wear him down.

Roe closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gehrig did well to prevent Roe getting side control.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miles DAvis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyjoto Maskida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think DAvis might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Miles DAvis - someday my prince will come. Maskida has chosen Bullet For My Valentine - Tears Don't Fall as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maskida throws out a loose jab but DAvis uses good head movement to avoid it.
DAvis moves out of range of the strikes.
Lyjoto Maskida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

DAvis shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Maskida napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Maskida is looking to reverse the position.

Maskida escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. DAvis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Maskida working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. DAvis doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. DAvis manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Maskida has got his arm under DAvis's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! DAvis has spun round into Maskida's guard beautifully! Well done that man!

DAvis avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

DAvis throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Maskida was covering up waiting for the punch and DAvis finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Maskida had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. DAvis is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Maskida Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take DAvis's back instead.
DAvis manages to reverse the position and now he's in Maskida's guard. Nice work there by DAvis.

Maskida is fighting off a takedown attempt but DAvis is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Maskida to the mat. Maskida regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
DAvis is looking to work some ground and pound but Maskida has wrist control.
DAvis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maskida swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lyjoto Maskida has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as DAvis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Miles DAvis showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for DAvis, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Oswald circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Phosphate drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Oswald follows Phosphate to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
