Undercard bout

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve McRae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McRae might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Disturbed-Indestructible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Lucas ducks under a wild hook from McRae.
McRae tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lucas sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten McRae somewhat.
McRae looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lucas is fending him off so far but McRae persists. Nope, Lucas circles away and we're back to standing.

Saleh is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Saleh extends the arm and Smart is forced to tap!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watanabe scores with a sloppy right hand. Gerra should have avoided that one.
Gerra displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Watanabe throws out the jab.
