The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Badeau gets caught flat footed, as tan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Draon fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Thompson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Draon on the side of the head.
Draon shoots for a takedown but Thompson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Thompson drops Draon with a beautiful combination! Draon stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Thompson is looking for the KO!

It looks like Munster Draon has been cut.
Draon dives in and grabs Thompson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Thompson pushes down on Draon's head and hops out.

Thompson sends Draon crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Thompson is motioning to the referee to let Draon up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Draon with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Thompson to score with a decent uppercut.
