A telegraphed takedown attempt from dos Santos is defended easily by Hadzija.
Hadzija thows a body shot but no joy.
Hadzija misses with a wild combination.
Hadzija lands a nice shot to the body.
Hadzija connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed dos Santos momentarily.

It looks like Rafael dos Santos has been cut.
Hadzija moves into range and connects with a jab.
Hadzija is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by dos Santos.
Hadzija looks to land a combination. dos Santos sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hadzija lands a left and a right that send dos Santos crashing to the mat, dazed. Hadzija thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

The crowd seem to be enjoying Probert's choice of entrance music: walk (pantera). Bob Probert told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Dan Wasabi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wasabi throws a series of punches but Probert avoids them all with ease.

Wasabi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Probert moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

I think Pineda might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to "Suffer" by Vision of Disorder. Nicholas tries for a takedown but Dang sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Clark shoots for a double leg takedown but Lehnsherr sprawls well. He's pushed Clark's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Highes crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Patricia - the referee stops the clock and Highes gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Patricia. Highes manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Patricia throws a head kick that misses.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Patricia.
Patricia looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Highes tries for a takedown but Patricia sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Patricia does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Patricia lands with a nice body kick.
The fighters circle momentarily. Patricia darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Highes looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Highes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Patricia sprawls well. Patricia wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Highes gets slowly back to his feet.
Patricia lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Patricia.

It looks like Jimmy Highes has been cut.

Highes walks straight into a right hand from Patricia - that's dropped him! Patricia jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Highes from any more punishment! Highes complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
