The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rambo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. blaster was covering up waiting for the punch and Rambo finishes the takedown easily into guard.
blaster has a closed guard, preventing Rambo from standing up.
blaster will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
blaster has Rambo pulled in close to control his posture.

blaster has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Rambo off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Rambo shoots for a takedown but blaster saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Rambo throws out a loose jab but blaster uses good head movement to avoid it.

Rambo is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! blaster lets go of the hold and Rambo can pop his arm back in it's socket.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tutter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Duvernay is fending him off so far but Tutter persists. Nope, Duvernay circles away and we're back to standing.
Duvernay leaves Tutter with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Duvernay lands with a kick to the temple. Tutter shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Tito Tutter has been cut.

Duvernay stuffs the takedown attempt from Tutter. Tutter gets slowly back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Sonny Corleone will probably get the nod.

Nyce drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Corleone manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Nyce has Corleone in his guard.

Nyce is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Nyce is looking to stand back up but Corleone counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Nyce.

Corleone stands up and beckons Nyce to join him on the feet.
Nyce throws a right and a left that Corleone avoids nicely.

David Nyce has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Corleone feints and as Nyce raises his hands in defense, Corleone changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Corleone might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vandenhoff shoots in for a double leg but Blackson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Vandenhoff throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Blackson's waist but Blackson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vandenhoff off to one side.
