The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collings stalks Hemmer and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hemmer's face. Hemmer staggers backwards, shaken.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Hemmer looks to land a left hand but Collings moved out of range nicely.
Collings shoots for a double leg takedown but Hemmer sprawls well. He's pushed Collings's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

enabling Collings to counter with a crisp jab.

Collings changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hemmer tries to avoid it but Collings manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hemmer to the ground. Hemmer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Hemmer counters with a nice low kick that buckles Collings's knee momentarily.
Collings takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Norman Collings has been cut.
Hemmer throws a jab but it's blocked by Collings.

Collings doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Hemmer counters by moving into the clinch.

Hemmer throws out a loose jab but Collings uses good head movement to avoid it.

Hemmer lands a left and a right that send Collings crashing to the mat, dazed. Hemmer thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hemmer feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Collings crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

Thompson is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Antheunis is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
