Mantiega had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Fertit is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Mantiega Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Fertit's back instead.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Machidan Lyoton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Lamonier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Lamonier's choice of entrance music: Pantera - Five Minutes Alone. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
