Po misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Fyodorov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fyodorov showed some decent athleticism there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hardy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dragonov was covering up waiting for the punch and Hardy finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Dragonov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hardy defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dragonov looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hardy must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Dragonov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hardy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hardy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fernandez drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Fernandez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McCuistion swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fernandez drops back looking for a leg! McCuistion is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McCuistion manages to kick Fernandez off! Fernandez jumps back into McCuistion's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McCuistion keeping moving, preventing Fernandez from controlling successfully.
McCuistion really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fernandez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fernandez pushes down on McCuistion's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Fernandez looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks McCuistion with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
