I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Vern Stuart was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stuart rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jackman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jackman tries to clinch up but Stuart circles away and keeps his distance.
Stuart throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jackman is looking to clinch.
Stuart looks to land a combination but Jackman avoids it well.
Stuart misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jackman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Stuart blocks a head kick by Jackman.
Stuart misses with a series of wild punches.
No joy there for Stuart, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tocha throws a right hand that Kang ducks under and follows up with a left that Kang also avoids with ease.
Kang is looking to clinch but Tocha is avoiding it.
Kang fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tocha manages to avoid it.
Paco Tocha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tocha misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Kang shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tocha manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Tocha has momentary wrist control but Kang slips an elbow through the middle.

Tocha really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kang. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between ace shottas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johny Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johny Bravo struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Johny Bravo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.
