The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddel just misses with a punch to the body.
Mondragon shoots in but Liddel avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Mondragon shoots for a double leg takedown but Liddel sprawls well. He's pushed Mondragon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Mondragon shoots for a takedown but Liddel saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Liddel scores with a one two! Mondragon had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Khahel Mondragon has been cut.
Liddel feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mondragon sprawling to the canvas! Mondragon rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Liddel finish him?!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Liddel engages and cracks Mondragon with a massive lead left hook - Mondragon tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Liddel is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Klitchkev closes the distance and clinches up with Emelianenko, looking for a takedown. Klitchkev pushes Emelianenko against the cage but Emelianenko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The ref is looking closely - Giel is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Giel is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

I think Magas might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Europe - The Final Countdown.
