The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vernon throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Kimura tries to clinch up but Vernon circles away and keeps his distance.
Vernon connects with a solid leg kick.

Kimura throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Kimura keeps the fight on the outside.
A jab-cross combination lands for Vernon and sends Kimura crashing to the mat! Vernon follows him down to the mat - Kimura regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

McMillionston seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Spatchcock does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
