The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele throws a jab but it's blocked by Smasher.
Steele looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Steele moves in looking to clinch but Smasher pushes him off.
Nice body punch from Steele.

Smasher gets the takedown into side control.
Steele prevents Smasher from moving into mount.

Smasher tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Smasher has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Steele tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Smasher thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Smasher looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Smasher wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Steele, who protects the arm well.
Steele sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Smasher is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Steele is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Smasher's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Smasher's back!

Smasher turns into Steele and is now in his guard.

Smasher has control of Steele's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Steele regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Smasher wants to take Steele's back but he can't do it this time.

Steele has left one of his arms exposed and Smasher doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Steele screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

It's a brutal combination of punches from Markakis! peters is backing up but he can't get away as Markakis lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops peters and ends the fight. Great knockout.

and Johnson counters with a big head kick but Green shrugs it off.
Johnson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Green pinned against the cage. Green gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Green stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Johnson.
Johnson lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Green is looking to close the distance but Johnson sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Green crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Green is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
