The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiernan getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

mind feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Tiernan moves in looking to clinch but mind pushes him off.
mind shoots in for a double leg but Tiernan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

mind throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tiernan was covering up waiting for the punch and mind finishes the takedown easily into guard.

mind is looking for a sweep. Tiernan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

mind tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tiernan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten mind somewhat.
