Mustapaa is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Munson flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Munson is out cold! Mustapaa holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Frankin shoots in and bounces Mandel off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Mandel working for a triangle but Frankin defends it easily.

and Frankin holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Mandel has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Frankin is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Frankin manages to pull guard.
Mandel trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Frankin holds on and takes a little breather.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mandel drops back looking for a leg! Frankin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Frankin manages to kick Mandel off! Mandel jumps back into Frankin's guard.
Frankin manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Frankin is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Mandel is surviving well by controlling Frankin's body position as best he can.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Frankin trying to control but Mandel is having none of it.

Frankin lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Frankin wants to take Mandel's back but he can't do it this time.
Frankin can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mandel is looking to escape.
Frankin moves to take his opponent's back.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Kerm Frankin just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Frankin looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Mandel!
Mandel tries to reverse the position but Frankin maintains control.

Frankin stands up from mount. Strange move.
Mandel closes the distance looking to clinch

and Frankin counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Frankin.
Mandel goes for a takedown attempt but Frankin pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kerm Frankin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frankie Mandel.

Frankin shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kerm Frankin dominated that second round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Frankin wants to free his trapped foot but Mandel is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Mandel manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Frankin throws a head kick that Mandel semi-blocks.

Frankin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Frankin wants to control from the top but Mandel keeps moving.
Mandel takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Kerm Frankin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Mandel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Frankin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Mandel tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Frankin presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Mandel is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Frankin locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Mandel is forced to tap!
