I think Jones might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ode to Taco Bell. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Valley had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jones is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Valley Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jones's back instead.

Jones is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Valley gets his way!

Nice takedown defense from Czyzewski. No joy for Austin on that attempt.
Austin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Czyzewski tries to avoid it but Austin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Czyzewski to the ground. Czyzewski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Czyzewski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Tyrone Biggum!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reich darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Biggum looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Reich wants to pass the guard but Biggum is defending well.
Reich is thwarting Biggum's attempts to control the position.

Biggum is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Reich pulls his head out easily.
Reich tries to pass to full mount but Biggum defends it.
Biggum tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Reich looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Reich wants to pass the guard but Biggum is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Reich lands with a right hand.

Reich closes the distance and clinches up with Biggum, looking for a takedown. Reich pushes Biggum against the cage but Biggum circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Biggum throws the kick towards the body but Reich avoids it.
Reich shoots in for a double leg but Biggum sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Reich tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Biggum has his takedown stuffed

so Reich counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Biggum wants to sweep but no luck.

Reich drops back looking for a leg! Biggum is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Biggum manages to kick Reich off! Reich jumps back into Biggum's guard.
Reich passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Reich tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Reich has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Reich advances to mount.

Biggum sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Biggum is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Reich slips nicely into half guard.

Reich is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Biggum defends it well.

Reich is working for a submission of some sort.
Biggum is pressing down on Reich's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Reich wants to pass the guard but Biggum is keeping the position.

Reich in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Biggum tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Reich!
