Magno tries to clinch up but Mario circles away and keeps his distance.

Mario shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Magno is trying to control but can't.

Magno tries to kick Mario off but Mario keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Magno wants to improve his position but Mario is controlling well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ken misses with a straight right.
Nice takedown defense from Ken. No joy for Romo on that attempt.
Ken lands a nice hook to Romo's body. Romo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Shoryu Ken seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ken keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ken throws a right and a left that both miss.
Romo shoots in for a takedown but Ken shows good takedown defense.
Shoryu Ken has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Romo.
Romo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ken throws an overhand right that lands on Romo's shoulder, as Romo tries to avoid the shot.

Nice combo by Ken! Oh, that's hurt him - Romo falls to the canvas and Ken follows him into side control.

Ken throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Romo parries the strikes from Ken easily there. Ken is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Romo to escape.

Ken is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Romo looks calm but he's in trouble here. Ken gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Romo is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Ken lets go of the hold and Romo can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Well Dale has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
