Athrox tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cross swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Athrox has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Athrox there as he acknowledges the shot.
Cross is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Athrox hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thunder Lightning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lightning might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to White Lightning. Baker comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Duck Song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Thunder Lightning looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Baker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
