The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Pendrak. No joy for McDonald on that attempt.
McDonald pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
McDonald throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pendrak sees it coming and avoids it easily.
McDonald connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Pendrak drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Pendrak has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie wants to clinch up but Benz keeps it at a distance.
Benz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gracie's waist but Gracie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Benz off to one side.
Gracie is looking to clinch.
Gracie tries to clinch up but Benz circles away and keeps his distance.

Benz closes the distance and pushes Gracie back into the cage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

and Benz decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gracie's guard.

Rogers had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lee is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rogers Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lee's back instead.

Rogers has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Lee has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Rogers is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Lee knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Lee for a finish.
I really don't envy Lee right now.
