These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Takashi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. smith looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexi Khazoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Congo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khazoki kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I Want It All. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?
