The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus misses with an uppercut. Oneeye saw that one coming.

Maximus escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Oneeye gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Oneeye is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Oneeye postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Maximus is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Oneeye, into his guard.

Oneeye is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Oneeye had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Maximus is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Oneeye Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Maximus's back instead.

Oneeye is looking for the choke from the back position but Maximus is controlling his hands well.

Oneeye is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Maximus knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Maximus for a finish.
